Our Community Supports Services offer a welcoming space where clients can engage in activities and develop life skills and confidence.

We cater to individuals with diverse support needs, including those who use wheelchairs and other aids. We also provide additional support for medical and care needs.

Clients may participate in programs on weekdays or community activities on weekends, tailored to their individual levels of disability and goals.

Support workers engage with clients through various activities, such as cooking, music, crafts, leisure sports, reading, singing, and more.

About The Role:

The role of a Support Worker involves supporting clients with disabilities, focusing on skill development and enriching their lives through engaging activities. This may also involve providing in-home support, requiring flexibility with shift work and evening shifts.

About You:

  • Confident in building positive relationships and supporting unique client needs.
  • Resilient and self-assured, able to work with diverse backgrounds.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and problem-solving.
  • Flexible with availability for shift work, sleepovers, and public holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Able to hold a valid driver's license and pass relevant checks.
  • Able to pass a National Criminal History Check.
  • Hold full COVID vaccination status.
  • Experience working with high-needs Disability clients (desirable).
  • Hold Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent (desirable).
