Role Overview

This position is pivotal in managing the decanting process and conducting well-being assessments to ensure seamless transitions for tenants. Responsibilities include performing essential checks, liaising with contractors and residents, and verifying the accuracy of rent and service charges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the decanting and well-being initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption for residents.
  • Proactively address a variety of customer inquiries and challenges, utilizing sound judgment to provide clear resolutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments to promote a cohesive approach to decant and well-being services.
  • Administer housing allocations in line with established policies and procedures.
  • Contribute significantly to maintaining high service delivery standards while supporting residents through their transitions, including engagement meetings.
  • Keep precise records and databases related to decanting and allocations using CRM and Proactis systems.
  • Conduct property evaluations and inspections to facilitate efficient transitions.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the relocation process.
  • Perform any additional duties as required by the role, as outlined in the role profile.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in housing management, decanting, or allocations is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of housing policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, effectively managing workload to meet set goals and KPIs.
  • This full-time position is based at the Birmingham office, with some remote work and travel across the Midlands, qualifying for essential car user allowance.
