Child and Youth Healthy Minds Program Role

Our Child and Youth Healthy Minds Program provides free, non-clinical mental health support for children and young people (ages 0-18) and their families. The program offers tailored support and flexible outreach options at school, at home, or in the community to promote effective early intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to children and young people experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with families and other service providers to develop and implement comprehensive support plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure optimal outcomes for children and young people.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A high level of understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health principles, and evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and community partners.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, including children and young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
