Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to provide high-quality psychological services, including evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions to children and adolescents.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing quality psychological services to clients and their families, based on best practice principles and within agreed upon standards.

  1. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients with complex mental health needs.
  2. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to child and youth mental health services.
  3. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case conferences to ensure comprehensive care planning and service coordination.
  4. Collaborate with other mental health professionals, service providers, and stakeholders to improve client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality psychological services to CYHMS clients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients with complex mental health needs.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Psychology from an accredited university.
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the relevant governing body.
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration supervised experience in a clinical area directly applicable to child and youth mental health services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contemporary psychological practice with children and adolescents, including evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions.
