Our organization is seeking a dynamic Fleet and Sales Operations Manager to lead fleet sales and dealer operations in Victoria.
The role involves supporting the development and execution of fleet sales strategies, as well as assisting with brand initiatives and dealership marketing efforts.
This position requires identifying key fleet opportunities, building strong relationships with fleet customers and dealerships, and contributing to sales growth through targeted campaigns and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Fleet Sales Strategies: Identify and target key fleet customers, monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Establishing Fleet Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet companies, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Supporting Dealership Network: Collaborate closely with dealerships to identify and pursue retail and fleet opportunities within Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia.
- Sales Performance and Reporting: Achieve and exceed Dealer sales targets, prepare regular sales reports, including pipeline updates, sales forecasts, and market analysis.
- Product Knowledge and Training: Maintain a deep understanding of commercial vehicle products, features, and benefits, provide training and support to dealerships and sales teams on retail and fleet sales processes and product knowledge.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the marketing team to develop fleet-specific marketing materials and campaigns, identify fleet sponsorship forum opportunities.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in fleet sales, business development, or commercial vehicle sales within the automotive industry.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful fleet sales strategies.
- Strong understanding of Australia's fleet market, including corporate, government, and rental segments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-term relationships with high-volume fleet customers.
- Experience supporting or working within an automotive dealership network.
