We are seeking a skilled Senior Power Systems Designer to lead our design team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing power distribution systems for utilities.

Job Description:
  • To develop detailed engineering plans, including system layouts, equipment selection, and electrical design calculations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Overhead Line Design experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, NEARA, and/or N'Poles.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering standards, regulations and procedures preferably within a Distribution network environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the design, analysis, and implementation of power distribution systems for utilities.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and feasibility studies to optimise power distribution systems and enhance performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth.
