Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role is part of the core professional group and will contribute strongly to the overall design capability.

The position is project focused, involving engineering design for the mining, minerals processing and utility sectors. We require experience in senior level project design with a solid track record in the mining and utilities sector.

  • Project Experience:
    • Minerals processing applications, power generation, power distribution/ transmission or the utilities sector.
    • High voltage engineering design.
    • Experience in a consulting capacity.
    • Experience with power simulation software.

Technical skills include power simulation assessments, load flow, fault level, motor starting and harmonics. Other key areas include regulatory submissions, major electrical plant selection and specifications, earth grid design, HV and LV switchboard design, power line design, protection systems, device settings, coordination & fault studies, testing and commissioning, wiring, schematic, and termination diagrams.

  • Education:
  • Electrical Engineering Degree, recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • Attitude and Skills:
  • Demonstrable positive can-do attitude.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communications skills – written and spoken.
