Senior Power Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to work on a diverse portfolio of projects.
Job DescriptionThis role offers the opportunity to collaborate across multiple disciplines and industries, working with a renowned engineering consultancy that supports Australia's mining, oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors.
The successful candidate will have 6+ years of experience in brownfield mining or oil & gas projects, as well as 5+ years of experience in an engineering consultancy. They will also have experience across all project phases from study to execution.
- Experience with HV/LV, AC/DC, power distribution, power system studies, earthing, arc flash studies, and design is essential.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems and distribution. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Responsibilities include designing and implementing power distribution systems, conducting power system studies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with other teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
