We are seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Brand Manager, responsible for managing a portfolio of products and achieving sales, profit, and market share targets.
The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the business plan for the allocated brands, maintaining product knowledge, understanding consumer and shopper trends, and conducting market analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement business plans for assigned brands.
- Maintain high levels of product knowledge and brand attributes.
- Stay up-to-date with consumer and shopper trends, needs, and behaviors.
- Conduct regular market analysis to understand market dynamics and drivers.
- Analyze competitor strategies and activities.
- Prepare SWOT and PEST analyses.
- Translate data into meaningful insights to inform brand positioning and strategy.
- Identify and develop innovation pipelines for incremental growth.
- Set pricing and channel strategies in collaboration with the Sales team.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in marketing pharmaceutical OTC products in Australia.
- Proven track record of developing and leading campaigns to deliver against communication strategies.
- Experience marketing products sold across pharmacy and grocery channels.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing brand P&Ls.
- Ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience using scan or ex-wholesaler data reporting tools.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in brand management.
