Business Analyst - Data Governance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Data Governance Specialist to support the implementation of data policies across risk and compliance functions.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance frameworks, risk policy implementation, and experience working in financial services or stock exchange environments.

  • Collaborate with business units to define and implement data policies related to risk and compliance.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for data governance initiatives.
  • Support the development and maintenance of data models that align with business needs and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive consensus on data governance and risk-related processes.
  • Assist in the design and rollout of data consumption strategies across departments.

This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure data is consumed, modeled, and governed effectively to meet regulatory and operational requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, stock exchange, or related domains.
  • A strong understanding of data governance principles and risk & compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in implementing data policies and controls in regulated environments.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and data consumption practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
