About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Pool Shop and Service Manager to join our team at Halogen Pools. This role is pivotal in managing our retail operations and service technicians, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retail Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily operations of the pool shop, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales.
    • Develop and implement retail strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
    • Ensure the pool shop is well-stocked, organized, and presents a welcoming environment for customers.
    • Manage and train retail staff, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere and promoting excellent customer service
  • Service Management:
    • Coordinate and oversee the scheduling and dispatching of service technicians for pool maintenance and repairs.
    • Ensure service technicians are equipped with necessary tools, equipment, and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently.
    • Monitor service quality and customer feedback, implementing improvements as needed.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Financial and Administrative Duties:
    • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the retail shop and service department.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales, service orders, and inventory.
    • Work closely with upper management to align retail and service operations with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the pool or related industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Technical knowledge of pool maintenance and repair is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using retail and service management software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
