About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at Workforce Australia for Individuals. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Programming and Scheduling: Develop and implement detailed project schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  2. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure that all site operations are conducted in accordance with our HSE policies and procedures, and that all personnel are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
  3. Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, ensuring that they are aware of their responsibilities and that they are meeting the required standards.
  4. Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work is being carried out to the required quality standards, and that any defects or issues are identified and addressed promptly.
  5. Site Maintenance: Ensure that all site facilities and equipment are maintained in good working order, and that all site waste is disposed of in accordance with our environmental policies.
  6. Communication: Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met, and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
Requirements
  1. Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  2. Qualifications: A relevant qualification in construction management or a related field.
  3. Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  4. Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of construction practices, methods, and techniques, including HSE regulations and quality control procedures.
