BESIX Watpac is seeking a skilled Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of on-site staff, including subcontractors, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company safety policies and practices to ensure compliance with OH&S legislative requirements.
- Organize and coordinate on-site activities, including sequencing and resource allocation.
- Assist the Site Manager in identifying and mitigating potential delays, safety issues, and industrial unrest.
- Review and resequence construction programs as necessary to achieve project completion dates.
- Implement and enforce company policies on safety, industrial relations, and quality assurance.
- Ensure quality and compliance with standards and contract documents.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in building/construction or a related field.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously and make sound decisions.
- High level of professionalism, maturity, and candour in daily work ethic.
- Ability to apply logical thinking to complex problems.
