About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the mid to final stages of construction in an Aged Care facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day site activities, including supervision of sub-contractors, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to scope.
  • Proactively resolve on-site issues, mitigating delays and maintaining workflow.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing regular progress updates to ensure satisfaction and trust.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team to align site operations with project goals.
  • Ensure safety regulations and company policies are adhered to, promoting a safe working environment for all.
  • Day-to-day completion of paperwork and other administrative tasks.
  • Weekly KPI reporting.
Requirements
  • A passion for the building/construction industry with some hands-on experience (e.g., in a trade, construction assistant, or foreperson role).
  • Eagerness to take the next step into a supervisory position, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work well within a team.
  • A keen eye for detail and a desire to learn, with the ability to follow instructions and implement guidance from senior site staff.
  • A strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • A current police check (or the ability to obtain one).
