Job Title: Advanced Occupational Therapist

Mater Health is seeking a skilled professional to join their team on a 12-month full-time contract.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead or deliver complex clinical services within the lymphoedema caseload, manage patient-centered care, and contribute to service growth through innovation and research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver independent specialist clinical services in lymphoedema
  • Utilize advanced clinical judgment and techniques to manage complex cases
  • Provide expert advice as a recognized lymphoedema specialist
  • Supervise and delegate to health practitioners, assistants, students, and support staff
  • Develop and review clinical policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Occupational Therapy, accredited Lymphoedema training, and eligibility with AHPRA. They should also have experience with therapy devices like pneumatic compression, negative pressure devices, and complex garment prescription.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy

Training: Accredited Lymphoedema Training

Eligibility: Eligibility with AHPRA
