Casual Learn to Swim Instructors

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Casual Learn to Swim Instructor. As a Casual Learn to Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to participants of all ages and skill levels.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing safe and effective instruction. You will be required to plan and deliver lessons that meet the individual needs of participants, maintain accurate records, and work collaboratively with other instructors and staff.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Austswim Certificate – Teaching of swimming and Water Safety or equivalent;
  • Current CPR Certificate;
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate;
  • Current Working with Children Check (if over 18);
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of honesty and integrity;
  • Commitment to Work Health and Safety.
Benefits

As a Casual Learn to Swim Instructor, you will receive a competitive hourly rate between $19.79 and $41.45 per hour, depending on your age, skills, qualifications, and experience.

Additional qualifications such as Austswim Certificate – Teacher of Aquatics for People with Disabilities may be beneficial in this role.
