Position Overview

Are you ready to explore new horizons and enhance your expertise in the vibrant field of Category Development? We are seeking a proactive and driven Category Development Analyst to become a vital part of our Emerging Channel team at Sanitarium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and category teams to leverage consumer and shopper insights, crafting a comprehensive category vision and strategies aimed at fostering profitable growth.
  • Oversee the retailer range review process, delivering in-depth category performance analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and providing detailed recommendations for range and space optimization.
  • Engage with retailers to establish strategic directions, unlocking growth potential for key segments and accounts.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of the category product portfolio, including competitor offerings, to ensure alignment with our brand strategy.
  • Contribute to the New Product Development (NPD) process by setting objectives for new products and supporting effective go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Commerce, or Business.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Marketing, Sales, or Category Management.
  • Experience with Nielsen scan/panel data is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
