The Role
  • Lead Opportunity Capture & Proposal Development: Coordinate responses to funding opportunities, assigning tasks, gathering documentation, engaging with partners, and ensuring timely submission.
  • Drive Project Execution: Oversee milestones, deliverables, and reporting for both internal initiatives and externally funded projects.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Foster strong working relationships across teams worldwide, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Financial Planning & Tracking: Partner with Operations and Finance to maintain accurate budgets, forecasts, and expenditure reports.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Apply PMO best practices to anticipate, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project or program management within a PMO setting.
  • A track record of managing complex projects in engineering, research, or technology environments.
  • Experience managing projects in hardware R&D environments.
  • Strong background in responding to grants, proposals, tenders, or other external funding opportunities.
  • Experience in financial management for funded projects, including budgeting, procurement tracking, and burn rate monitoring.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to various audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic priorities with operational detail.
  • Experience working with global, multidisciplinary teams.
