About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join our established team and work on various commercial projects in North Melbourne or Western Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Oversee construction contracts and ensure projects meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members on contract-related questions and issues.
  • Procurement: Assist with the procurement of materials across various projects, including delivery to site.
  • Subcontract Documentation: Draft subcontract documentation.
  • Trade Packages: Review, develop, and administer trade packages scope of work before calling for tenders.
  • Quote Evaluation: Assess quotes, negotiate, and provide tender price comparisons and recommendations.
  • Variations and Claims: Handle and evaluate variations and claims with project teams.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Contracts Administration.
  • Experience working on different commercial projects from values above $50mil.
  • Knowledge of Melbourne construction market and subcontractors.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • JOBPAC experience preferred, as well as proficiency across MS Suit.
