Job Title: Procurement Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our merchandising team as a Procurement Assistant. This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in procurement and wants to develop skills in administrative support, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Provide administrative support to Buyers, including filing, correspondence, and data entry to ensure seamless communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with the generation of weekly reporting and Excel reports to inform business decisions and drive results.
  • Manage purchase orders and price pendings to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs.
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and drive progress.
  • Liaise with stores, suppliers, and other teams to action ad-hoc tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a retail environment or a similar field.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Intermediate skills using Excel to analyze data and create reports.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy to ensure high-quality work and minimal errors.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels and build effective relationships.
