Senior Maritime Structural Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maritime Structural Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in maritime structural design and lead technical delivery on exciting projects.

You will work collaboratively with our talented engineering team to deliver high-quality solutions for large-scale multi-discipline maritime facilities across various industries.

  • Deliver complex structural designs, including reinforced concrete and steel, in marine environments.
  • Evaluate and report on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.
  • Design berthing and mooring systems.
  • Utilize structural analysis software (SPACE GASS, Strand 7, IDEAStatica).
  • Develop strong relationships with local governments, port clients, and Defence sector partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with Australian and international design codes and guidelines.

Your Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in maritime structural design.
  • Significant experience in designing, evaluating, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.
  • Experience working with local governments, port clients, and Defence sector partners.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer status or ability to obtain within agreed timeframe.
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
