Maritime Structural Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Maritime Structural Engineer to join our team, working on large-scale maritime facilities and infrastructure projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the design and planning activities for various industries, including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability.

As a Maritime Structural Engineer, you will work with a range of other disciplines across different partners, leveraging your existing experience in structural design, reinforced concrete, and steel. You will be responsible for delivering concept designs through to construction phase support, while also growing your leadership and business development skills by assisting with project management and proposal tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design and planning activities for large-scale maritime facilities and infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with a range of other disciplines across different partners
  • Deliver concept designs through to construction phase support
  • Assist with project management and proposal tasks to grow leadership and business development skills
Requirements:
  • Experience in structural design, reinforced concrete, and steel
  • Interest or experience in designing, evaluating, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures
  • Capability and experience in using structural analysis software (SPACE GASS, Strand 7, IDEAStatica)
  • Interest or experience working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector
  • Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance
