Key Responsibilities

Accurate property records and valuations are crucial to maximising revenue for the council. The Property Rating Officer will be responsible for ensuring these records are up-to-date and accurate, as well as processing rate notices and waste management charges with precision.

  • Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping of property valuations.
  • Process rate notices and waste management charges promptly and accurately.
  • Provide expert advice and data to internal teams and ratepayers.
What We Are Looking For
  • Knowledge of municipal rates, valuations, titles, and subdivisions.
  • Experience in using property systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
