About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced OSHC Educator to join our team at YMCA Warrigal Road Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service in Eight Mile Plains.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to primary school children before and after school, as well as during school holiday periods.

About the Role

As an OSHC Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement engaging activities, including science experiments, outdoor games, painting, and musical activities, that cater to diverse learning styles and interests.

Requirements
  • Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor degree in the field of children's services or similar.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Positive Notice Blue Card.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
