Program Director for Early Childhood Education

We are seeking an experienced Program Director for Early Childhood Education to lead our team at YMCA Warrigal Road Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) located in Eight Mile Plains. This is a permanent, part-time position with an estimated salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the education program by promoting children's well-being, development, and learning. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and implementation of the educational program and assessment with the support of Assistant Coordinator/Coordinator
- Ensuring children's learning and development informs the design of the educational program, and Educators facilitate and extend each child's learning and development;
- Liaising effectively with parents, staff, and all internal and external stakeholders;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent and demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Education;
- Sound experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting;
- A comprehensive working knowledge of the approved learning framework;
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
