Early Childhood Educator

Sparrow Early Learning is seeking a passionate and imaginative Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Browns Plains. As a Studio Assistant Educator, you will be part of a supportive service where all children are individuals with their own needs, personalities, and traits.
We educate children through play, using each opportunity to extend on their skills and knowledge. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a safe, supportive space where children thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Care for children in a studio setting, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development
- Develop and implement engaging play-based learning programs that cater to individual needs and interests
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and teamwork
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, routines, and interests
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current and valid Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certificates, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
