As a Firearms Compliance Specialist, you'll ensure compliance with relevant firearms laws, regulations, and licensing requirements. You'll contribute to preventing illegal firearms possession, trafficking, and misuse, promoting public safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation related to firearms licensing, permits, and compliance activities.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits to verify compliance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on compliance inspections, investigations, and audits.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, regulatory compliance, or a similar role is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of firearms legislation, regulations, and licensing requirements in NSW.
  • Familiarity with firearm types, accessories, and safe handling practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and databases for record-keeping and data analysis.
