This pivotal leadership position plays a vital role in shaping the quality and safety frameworks across BreastScreen SA.

The Quality, Safety and Accreditation Manager will drive the strategic development and implementation of quality, risk and accreditation frameworks that meet and exceed national standards. This involves expert policy advice, oversight of accreditation processes aligned with the BreastScreen Australia National Accreditation Standards, and support for the State Quality Committee.

This leadership role offers the opportunity to create a strong culture of quality and risk management within a public health service. Collaboration with senior leaders, clinical teams, and external stakeholders is essential in enhancing systems, managing organisational change, and supporting training initiatives that improve workforce capability.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinking and planning with a focus on quality, safety and accreditation practices in the health sector
  • Relevant experience and a commitment to continuous improvement, along with a collaborative approach to managing change and fostering high standards across services
  • Proven experience in service delivery or management within the South Australian health system
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare quality, safety and accreditation, including familiarity with BSSA and NAS requirements
