Job Description
The Director, Commercial Quality is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the compliant, efficient, and customer-focused distribution of products across multiple markets. As a key business partner to the VP of APAC and the General Manager of ANZ, this leader collaborates across functions, thinks systemically, and resolves conflicts to ensure alignment between quality and commercial objectives.

This position requires a forward-thinking individual with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will be able to provide strategic quality oversight, manage product quality complaints, and lead cross-functional teams to drive results and foster a high-performing culture.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Providing strategic quality oversight across the ANZ & APAC commercial portfolio.
  2. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  3. Leading, developing and mentoring a regional team of Quality professionals.
  4. Managing product quality complaints, deviations, recalls, and investigations.
  5. Acting as the primary quality contact for regional Health Authorities and licensing partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related science discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, with a strong understanding of GMP/GDP/GVP.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams across diverse geographies and functions.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across a matrixed, global organisation.
