Job Title: People and Culture Manager

About the Role:

  • Foster a collaborative, innovative workplace culture that drives employee engagement and productivity.

Duties:

  1. Develop and maintain an organizational culture aligned with our company values.
  2. Lead staff onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure seamless transitions.
  3. Manage employee records through HR systems, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
  4. Design and implement HR projects and initiatives that align with business objectives.
  5. Collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies and assist with selection processes.
  6. Provide expert advice to managers on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  7. Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and talent development.
  8. Ensure accurate payroll processing and manage leave entitlements for all employees.
  9. Participate in strategic planning sessions to drive business growth and identify opportunities for process improvements.

About You:

  • At least five years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven knowledge of employment laws, Fair Work Act, and National Employment Standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with employees at all levels.
  • Problem-solving skills and initiative, with a focus on driving results and improving processes.
