This role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals living with mental illness and/or disabilities.
As a Support Worker, you will provide flexible support tailored to the needs and preferences of our clients, promoting their independence and dignity. Your daily tasks may include assisting with personal care, providing emotional support, and encouraging community participation.
To be successful in this role, you will require excellent interpersonal skills, a strong passion for empowering individuals with disabilities, and a valid Queensland Driver's Licence.
You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with case managers and other stakeholders, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive support.
Responsibilities- Provide personalized support to clients based on their individual needs.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores.
- Encourage social engagement and community participation among clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and care plans.
- Relevant qualifications or experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid Queensland Driver's Licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
