Desktop Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. As a key member of our EUC Team, you will provide exceptional support to end-users in a client environment, ensuring seamless IT operations and excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and effective support for IT-related issues.
  • Contribute to the EUC Team, delivering high-quality support services to end-users, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve operational and project objectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to resolve incidents and requests, adhering to ITIL Framework guidelines and SLAs, CSFs, and KPIs.
  • Participate in IMAC-D activities, including the installation, movement, addition, change, and decommissioning/disposal of desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment and peripherals.
  • Stay up-to-date with new and emerging technologies, guided by business requirements, to ensure the delivery of innovative solutions.

Requirements and Preferences:

  • At least 1 year of experience in computer software and hardware troubleshooting, with a focus on Windows operating systems as a field technician (desktop or deskside support).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL Framework principles and practices.
  • Experience with ITSM tools, such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English.
  • Ability to perform general office requirements and travel, including overnight domestic trips.
