Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate support to end-users within our desktop computing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site and on-call assistance to end-users, resolving technical issues and ensuring optimal service delivery.
  • Coordinate and implement technical solutions, ranging from simple activities to complex plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with end-users, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve service delivery and support.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • At least 1+ year of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent technical skills, including computer OS/peripherals troubleshooting, hardware/software installation, and printer support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering quality results.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and SCCM, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area.
