About the Role

The Financial Controller will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of our company, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This is a senior leadership position that requires a high degree of expertise and experience in financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
    • Develop and implement financial models to support business decision-making.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting
    • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.
  • Tax Compliance and Risk Management
    • Oversee tax compliance, including income tax and FBT returns.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including cash flow and liquidity risks.
  • Financial Operations and Process Improvement
    • Manage cash flow, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll functions.
    • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Leadership and Team Development
    • Mentor and develop the finance team.
    • Lead by example and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Be CPA or CA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior finance role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience managing full financial operations, including GL, AP, AR, billing, and payroll.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a finance team while driving process improvements.
