Cable & Wireless is seeking a seasoned financial leader to drive strategic growth and profitability.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to oversee all financial activities and provide strategic partnership to Senior Commercial and Operations Management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide finance partnership to support the company's strategic goals in strategic planning, profit & loss, cashflows, capital expenditure, procurement, commercial contracts, billing, revenue assurance, cost management, and operations management.
* Drive cost management and increased productivity using factual analysis, identifying opportunities for cost savings & cost reduction plans, optimizing capital efficiency, and ensuring only profitable revenue earning opportunities and cost savings initiatives are invested into.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and board reporting requirements, adhering to governance rules and delegation of authority.
* Lead change initiatives, including measurable improvements to operations, costs, processes, and systems.
* Foster strong negotiating and influencing skills, excellent people management skills, and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
* Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

**Requirements:**

* Professionally qualified Accountant with a minimum of eight years of experience in a Telecommunications Finance environment, with at least two years at the senior management level.
* Strong leadership and change management skills, with experience in driving measurable improvements to operations, costs, processes, and systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make accurate and timely decisions.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle a fast-paced environment.
