Disability Support Worker Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care and household tasks.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans, focusing on clients' goals and aspirations.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping them build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare providers and family members, to ensure comprehensive client care.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification (Certificate III in Disability or above) or equivalent experience.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • First aid/CPR certificates.
  • Full and clean Australian driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and a genuine interest in supporting people with disabilities.
