Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Claims Department Manager to lead our centralised claims team based in Adelaide.

This leadership role drives our national claims performance, ensuring all deadlines are met, compliance standards are upheld, and the team delivers at the highest level.

  • Lead and manage the claims team to achieve national performance targets and key objectives.
  • Oversee claims processes and ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Monitor, report, and manage claims performance across the business, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth.
  • Ensure adherence to legislative and contractual requirements, maintaining a strong reputation for integrity and professionalism.
  • Manage high volumes of data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct outbound calls to employers as required, building strong relationships and fostering collaboration across departments.

About the Role:

You will:

  • Manage staff performance and daily tasks, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  • Serve as the technical expert in claims management nationally, driving best practices and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively, leveraging your expertise to find solutions and overcome challenges.
  • Build strong relationships and foster collaboration across departments, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.

  • The ability to build rapport with employers and stakeholders, communicating effectively and professionally.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, with experience using software applications to support business needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Employment Services experience will be highly regarded, but not essential.
