About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our projects from inception to completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects with minimum risk and maximum profit, working closely with site staff, senior management, and clients to achieve objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 100% compliance with HSE/QA legislation and ensure all company management systems are implemented, managed, and maintained.
  • Provide and maintain Project Cost Reports, Claim and Labour Forecasting using Jobpac as our ERP system.
  • Variation management executed in accordance with contract documentation and procedures.
  • Monitor site progress, materials delivered to site, and accurately document Progress Claim percentages prior to monthly submission.
  • Implement innovations that reduce costs within contractual boundaries while maintaining quality standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, foster a solutions-focused attitude, and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Oversee site team and control sub-contractors.
  • Effectively manage assets on site, ensuring plant and equipment are well taken care of by all staff.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar project management role within the plumbing industry.
  • Previous experience in plumbing, ideally with commercial and hydraulics.
  • Tertiary qualification in project management and plumbing trade qualification would be considered favourably.
  • Able to understand hydraulic related drawings, specifications, and management systems.
  • Self-driven, results-focused, and able to manage a project autonomously, with a focus on cost minimization.
  • Ability to deal with pressure, meet deadlines, and enjoy challenges.
  • Ability to work with systematic operating systems and procedures with attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand financial aspects of projects including estimating.
  • Solid commercial acumen.
