Library Operations Officer

This is an opportunity to contribute to daily library operations and lead community programs for children, youth, seniors, and lifelong learners in the beautiful New England region of NSW.

About the Role
  • Delivering engaging programs and activities across all age groups that foster a love of learning and improve community outcomes.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and library support to ensure a welcoming environment for diverse communities.
  • Assisting with circulation, cataloguing, and resource management to maintain a well-organized and efficient library.
  • Supporting outreach services, including branch and home deliveries to cater to the needs of remote or disadvantaged communities.
  • Contributing to funding applications and program reporting to measure impact and inform future initiatives.
About You
  • Experience in a library or community-focused environment where you can apply your skills and knowledge to drive positive change.
  • Certificate IV in Library & Information Services (or willingness to obtain) to enhance your professional development and expertise.
  • NSW Working with Children Check + NSW Class C Driver's Licence to work effectively in this role.

  • Experience with Libero LMS to streamline library operations and improve efficiency.
  • Program design and delivery to engage diverse audiences and meet their needs.
  • Stakeholder engagement across diverse communities to build relationships and promote library services.
