The Deputy Chief Executive Officer is a key leadership position that plays a vital role in shaping the organisation's strategy and direction. The incumbent will be responsible for providing cultural leadership across the organisation, ensuring programs and operations deliver high-quality, culturally appropriate services to the community.
Main Responsibilities- Leading and growing primary health and wellbeing programs to achieve organisational objectives.
- Managing government funding contracts to ensure successful program delivery.
- Providing strategic leadership to program staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Servicing governance and accountability processes to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Actively participating in strategic planning and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with community, government, and stakeholders to drive organisational success.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Health Administration, Business Management or related field.
- Extensive experience managing health programs in an Aboriginal community context.
- Strong knowledge of government funding processes and program management.
- Demonstrated cultural leadership and ability to engage Aboriginal communities.
- Proven people leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
- Strong governance, financial management, and compliance experience.
- High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
