Corporate Transformation Leader

The Manager Governance, Performance and Engagement will spearhead the development of strategic initiatives to enhance local governance through innovative solutions.
This role involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of corporate functions that are pivotal to the organisation's performance, governance, and community connection.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive Innovation and Strategic Performance: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive organisational growth, performance reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen Governance and Risk Management: Oversee the development and implementation of governance frameworks that uphold organisational integrity and transparency.
- Community engagement, communications and marketing: Lead the development and delivery of integrated communications strategies that promote organisational services, build trust, and ensure community voices are heard.
- Resilience and emergency planning: Plan for Resilience and Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency and business continuity planning to ensure the organisation is prepared to respond to and recover from critical events.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in change management, strategic planning, and performance analysis, strong analytical skills, a passion for service excellence, and the ability to engage others in building a high-performing organisation.
The successful applicant will be a strategic leader with a detail-oriented approach to governance and risk management, and experience in public sector engagement, media relations, and stakeholder management.
