Job Title

Lead a high-impact portfolio and drive strategic change in a local government setting.

Key responsibilities include overseeing business improvement, governance, risk and assurance, marketing, communications, community engagement, emergency management, and corporate planning and reporting. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Drive Innovation and Strategic Performance: Lead the transformation of Council services through strategic planning, performance reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen Governance and Risk Management: Oversee the development and implementation of governance, compliance, and risk frameworks that uphold integrity and transparency.
  • Lead Community Engagement, Communications and Marketing: Develop and deliver integrated communications and engagement strategies that build trust, promote Council services, and ensure community voices are heard.
  • Plan for Resilience and Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency and business continuity planning to ensure readiness to respond to and recover from critical events.
Requirements
