Are you a strategic leader ready to shape the future of local government through innovation, integrity, and community connection?

Wodonga Council is seeking a strategic and people-focused Manager Governance, Performance and Engagement to lead a diverse portfolio of corporate functions that are central to the organisation's performance, governance, and community connection.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality services across business improvement, governance, risk and assurance, marketing, communications, community engagement, emergency management, and corporate planning and reporting. • Lead the development and delivery of integrated communications and engagement strategies that build trust, promote Council services, and ensure community voices are heard. Ensure messaging is clear, inclusive, and aligned with Council's strategic priorities and statutory requirements.
Resilience and emergency planning
  • Plan for Resilience and Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency and business continuity planning to ensure Council is prepared to respond to and recover from critical events.
