This newly created executive role reports to the Managing Director and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. The Chief Innovation Officer will work across the organisation to design and deliver strategies that create customer value, community impact and regional growth.

The role leads two critical portfolios:

  • Digital & Business Transformation: Drive our digital, data and cyber strategies, uplift capability, embed innovation, and harness emerging technologies such as AI to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and sustainability outcomes.
  • New Revenue Growth Strategy: Progress innovative commercial prospects that grow revenue and achieve business efficiencies through circular economy and waste to value initiatives, energy and agribusiness opportunities, innovative partnerships, and securing funding to strengthen financial sustainability.

As a member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our digital transformation, driving innovation and growth, and developing strategies that create value for our customers and the community.

  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive digital transformation, innovation, and growth.
  • Leveraging emerging technologies such as AI to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and sustainability outcomes.
  • Driving business efficiencies through circular economy and waste to value initiatives, energy and agribusiness opportunities, innovative partnerships, and securing funding to strengthen financial sustainability.
