As a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our team by ensuring that our medical devices are cleaned, sterilized, and ready for use. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Your tasks at a glance:

  • You'll be responsible for receiving, sorting, disassembling, decontaminating, cleaning, assembling, wrapping, sterilizing, and storing instruments.
  • You'll keep accurate records of sterile items and ensure that stock is rotated (FIFO) and outdated supplies are reprocessed.
  • You'll adhere to sterilization standards and ensure that they are met on a regular basis.

A clear view of your assets:

  • Required: You possess a recognized Sterile Processing / Medical Device Reprocessing Technician certificate (MDRT) and a current Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certificate.
  • You're meticulous, precise, rigorous, patient, and focused, with no detail escaping your notice.
  • You have a sense of responsibility and take your role seriously.
  • Experience in the field of ophthalmology and/or optometry is considered an asset.
