We are seeking a motivated and efficient Tuckshop Convenor to support the Catholic ethos of our school. As a key member of our team, you will provide a balanced range of nutritional food at a reasonable cost to students and staff while maintaining high standards of hygiene.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Proven administration, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
About this Role:
  1. Coordinate the daily operation of the tuckshop and oversee food preparation and counter services
  2. Design and offer a menu that focuses on providing nutritious foods to our School community
  3. Coordinate volunteers to facilitate effective and efficient operations
  4. Liaise with Principals and Finance Officers to ensure timely pricing reviews and profitable trading operations
  5. Identify stock requirements and place orders with vendors
  6. Review suppliers' products offered, service and pricing
  7. Participate in regular stock take, recording and reporting processes
  8. Maintain accurate records for the tuckshop and associated catering operations
  9. Deliver quality service to students and customers through approved marketing arrangements
  10. Ensure food storage and handling is hygienic and in accordance with health regulations
  11. Provide effective supervision and training to volunteers
  12. Observe Workplace Health and Safety Practices
