Project Management Assistant

The key objective of this role is to guarantee quality and timely project execution, which entails creating project schedules, repair methodologies, compliance requirements, and cost-effective budget management for clients.

This office-based position supports onsite teams and provides a central communication point for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistent and accurate administration and project coordination of small-medium repairs.
  • Organisation and scheduling of appropriate trades/technicians/estimators.
  • Cost management through claim life, handling of trade invoices and invoicing.
  • Strong focus on external and internal KPIs and client service level agreements.
  • Collating photos and other associated documents for the timely submission of reports and quotations.
  • Liaising with all stakeholders ensuring efficient communication and regular updates.
  • Promoting a safe and WHS-compliant workplace.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Insurance repair coordination.
  • Thorough understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permit and WHS requirements.
  • Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards and State legislation.
  • Track record of establishing and maintaining long-term relationships/accounts.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Proactive and outcome-focused.
  • Ability to act independently and multi-task.
  • High attention to detail with excellent communication.
