Job Title: Health and Wellness AdvisorDescription:

This role involves providing health and wellness advice to individuals who require additional support. As a health and wellness advisor, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing therapeutic interventions, and facilitating groups to assist job seekers with complex barriers to employment.

You will also liaise with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of clients, ensuring that their needs are met and they receive the necessary support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop effective strategies to address these needs.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including counseling and coaching, to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Facilitate groups and provide recommendations for vocational and non-vocational services to support clients in achieving employment outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in psychology or counseling.
  • Eligibility for registration with APHRA or membership with ACA/PACFA.
  • Experience working within employment services is highly regarded.
