We are seeking a person who has strong self-motivation, the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Someone with strong leadership, follow-up, organization, and prioritization skills, and excellent attention to detail.
This role can be full-time or minimum 3 days per week.
Job DescriptionThis role is to ensure the accuracy and quality of reports produced by Next Health consultants in a timely manner, as well as providing consultants and customers with technical advice relating to reports and permanent impairment/disability assessments.
To coordinate and deliver a range of high-quality, customer-focused business administration support and duties for the provision of independent medical assessment and advice to Next Health team members, consultants, customers, clients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Review of medico-legal reports in line with quality framework and relevant regulations and legislation.
- Undertake quality assurance of reports, AMS forms, and assessments, ensuring they are compliant with specific customer and/or legislative specifications, Next Health standards and processes, and appropriate guidelines.
- Identify inaccurate, deficient, or incomplete reports and liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Assist with consultant, customer, or team member training sessions as needed.
- Support the General Manager, Operations Manager, and Report Production and Quality Coordinator in the induction of new staff.
- Escalate matters requiring intervention to appropriate personnel.
- Advise of possible delays in turnaround times where applicable.
- Prioritize workflow based on availability, requests, and urgency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow prioritization.
- Experience in the medical, allied health, and/or personal injury industry.
- Experience in driving quality assurance programs.
- Understanding of case management practices related to independent medical reports is beneficial.
- Experience in coordinating customer-focused administrative support.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
