Payroll Operations Manager Job Summary

As a Payroll Operations Manager, you will oversee and manage payroll operations for a large organisation within the mining sector.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting, finance or a related field, with proven experience in a similar role within the mining industry. You should possess excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of payroll transactions.
  • Regularly liaise with internal departments and external entities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and organisational policies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of payroll legislation and industry awards.

The successful applicant will have considerable experience with Australian payroll and payroll tax, as well as proficiency in Pronto, which is highly desirable. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism is essential.

This is a mid-senior level, full-time position with generous holiday leave entitlements and an inclusive company culture.
